This treatment consists of a deep cleansing and exfoliating process to refresh and rejuvenate your skin. A thorough cleansing will remove all surface dirt and oils. Next, an exfoliating enzyme is applied to remove dead cells on the surface of the skin, followed by the application of an acid customized for your skin type. This deep exfoliation improves both the texture and tone of your skin, and leaves it feeling fresh and rejuvenated. This treatment is suggested for treating oily, acne-prone skin, or skin that has acne scars. Salicylic Acid, the most beneficial acid for acne-prone skin, is used to exfoliate the damaged layers of skin and refine the skin texture and tone. It is also helpful in clearing up current break-outs. Some patients will experience peeling within 2-4 days of treatment and will last approximately three days.

Microdermabrasion is a procedure that effectively removes the topmost layer of the skin through gentle skin resurfacing with a natural diamond chip wand. This process promotes accelerated cellular growth, while leaving the skin soft and smooth. Microdermabrasion is most beneficial on sundamaged skin, thick or rough skin, acne pit scars, and fine lines and wrinkles. To achieve optimum results, it is best to have a series of 3-6 treatments roughly 3 weeks apart. You may experience mild to moderate redness immediately following the procedure, however, it generally subsides within 30-60 minutes, leaving your skin with a healthy glow.
