Mr. Chandler is a well-known educator, conductor, performer, and instrument collector in Southern California. He is the band and chorus teacher at Pinon Messa Middle School in the Snowline JUSD for over 20 years. On February 17th, 2002, Mr. Chandler and his family were the victims of a one-man home invasion. Mr. Chandler was pistol-whipped but fought the gunman for control of the weapon. A protracted struggle ensued and the gunman was knocked to the ground several times, but ultimately Mr. Chandler was shot diagonally through the hand, with his middle finger as the exit wound. He was transported to Loma Linda Medical Center where I was on call to care for him. During the all night surgery we rebuilt his hand and reattached his fingers. Dr. Sharon Kalina of Kaiser Medical Center also cared for Mr. Chandler. In total he underwent fiveoperations. Due to his unbelievable determination, he was able to regain is amazing ability to once again play his musical instruments. He gave a concert to celebrate is recovery, and to thank the many people (Dr. Ben J. Childers, Dr. Sharon Kalina, Loma Linda Hand Center, Kaiser Medical center) that assisted him on his return to the music he loves so much.
He called me after 10 years to invite me to his recital. It was an experience I would not have missed for the world. Mr. Chandler you are an amazing gifted muscian, God bless you and your family. Hearing and watching you play confirms for me the reason I became who I became!! Thank you…

Jane Iredale’s Lip Fixation is two products in one. Each one contains a lip stain that soothes the lips with buildable coverage. On the other end you get a complimentary color lip gloss.
I purchased the new fall colors in Mania & Relish and I absolutely love this product. It not only lasts all day but it doesn’t have that sticky feeling most lip glosses leave you. I would recommend this product to any client who wants little to full coverage lip color thats lasts all day.

FALL HOLIDAY MAKEUP LOOK!!!

I decided I would do a before & after makeup look for a fall holiday look on one of our Aesthetician’s using only Jane Iredale products. I will list all of the products/colors I used for this look down below.
Eyes:
-As a base I used the Champagne Silk Eye Gloss on the whole eye.
-I then applied Brown Silk Eye Gloss on the entire lid.
-On the inner half of the eye I used Glimmer Gold eyeshadow and Dawn eyeshadow on the outer half corner of the eye.
-For the crease I used the darkest matte brown from the Pecan/Chocolate eyeshadow trio and blended it w/ our blending brush to soften the hard edges.
-For the brow bone I used Oyster eyeshadow.
-To finish the eyes I lined the top lash line with the black from our Black Plus cream to powder eyeliner trio and finished up w/ black mascara to both top and bottom lashes.
Face:
-I first applied our Liquid Minerals Foundation in Warm Sienna.
- I then applied our Disappear Concealer in Medium under the eyes to brighten.
-To finish the face I powdered her w/ Warm Sienna Pressed Powder.
-For the cheeks I took the dark brown color from our quad blush Sunbeam and used it on her cheek bones, sides of the nose, around the temples/hairline and jawline to contour the face. I then took the pink shade from the quad and applied only to the apples of the cheeks. To finish the look I took the lightest color and only applied it to the bridge of the nose, cupids bow of the top lip, on the forehead, chin and tops of the cheek bones to add brightness.
-After the makeup is done you want to take the Pom Mist setting spray and lightly mist the face to set the minerals.
Lips:
-For Linda’s lips I just used our Cherry Sparkle PureGloss.

ROSES & LOLLIPOPS
Come into our office and spread awareness of breast cancer with Jane Iredale’s new Roses & Lollipops lip duo in a petite portable keychain locket. The locket contains a PureMoist Lip Colour in Roses which is a creamy lip color that soothes & hydrates the lips with jojoba and grape seed extract. The other half of the locket contains a PureGloss in Lollipops and that is a petroleum-free sheer gloss made with green tea leaf extract. I personally love the convience of having it portable hanging with my keys and not to mention it has a soft floral scent.
When you purchase ones of these lockets 100% of the profits will go to the Living Beyond Breast Cancer.

Have you ever wanted a gloss that doesn’t feel sticky when applied? Well, Jane Iredale’s PureGloss for lips is the answer to all your lip gloss questions. This gloss is shiny, soothing and protective. After applied you will feel a tingly mint and ginger flavor which helps to plump the lips. It does not contain petroleum or chemicals only grape seed and pomegranate extracts that act as antioxidants. It is also formulated from a base of organic vegetable oils.
Jane Iredale has about 20 colors to choose from which also includes their global shades for those with darker skin tones. A few of my personal favorites paired with a nude lip liner are: pink candy, strawberry, soft peach and apricot fizz.

I have always loved the smell of sunscreens but I have never been a fan of the sticky greasy feeling it would leave behind after applying; not to mention the embarrassing lapse of time you spend trying to dust the sand off your body because it’s stuck to the sticky residue. I as most people have oily skin so putting sunscreen on before my makeup would give me an oily look 15 minutes into the day. Wouldn’t it be nice to have a dry sunscreen that you could apply to your face and body whenever you wanted? Well, now you can with Jane Iredale’s new dry sunscreen.
It’s a dry powdered sunscreen that protects skin from UVA & UVB rays without the sticky greasy feeling of your traditional sunscreens. It comes in two shades: Translucent & Tanned for the person who wants that extra glow for the summer. This product comes in a jar with a sponge applicator to buff over the skin. The powder contains titanium dioxide and a natural clay that will help to not clog the pores and help soothe the skin. After using this product I’ve come to love it because I’ve noticed it that it has a mattifying effect; so whenever you feel a little shiny go ahead and powder your face.
Come in today and get your dry sunscreen before you head out to the beach or just decide to layout in your backyard. Trust me your skin will thank you for it later. Now there are no excuses left for not protecting your skin throughout the whole day.
